Mystic Rationalizations is a new 6.5% IPA dry-hopped with a trio of Southern Hemisphere varietals: Riwaka, Vic Secret, and Motueka. For those keeping score at home, that’s New Zealand, Australia, and New Zealand again. Boosted by a little secret Citra Cryo in the whirlpool, these hops erupt with the uniquely vibrant tropical flavors we’ve come to expect from Down Under — soft passion fruit, ripe mango, zesty lime, guava, sweet orange citrus, and a touch of red grapefruit.

We present this punchy fruit salad in an IPA constructed primarily with luxe English pale malt, plus some malted oats and triticale (our fave rye-wheat hybrid) from NC’s Epiphany Craft Malt. It’s a soft and tender beer — the perfect accompaniment to one big synchronized smile.
