Taster, draught, sample tray at Musa in Porto. Pretty black in the glass, spotty lacing from a dissipating fawn-coloured head. Quite inviting smell of roasted dark malts, bread and chocolate. Straightforward taste of chocolate malts, dark bread, and added by hints of liquorice. Lightly roasted malty end, mid-sweet. Likeable (Porto 03.09.2023).

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 04/2022 Aroma has sweet and milky tones. Also hayish and woody notes. Flavour has pot coffee, milky tones. Dry finish. More like milk stout than an oatmeal.

Tap at Fuga Cidade. A dark brown black coloured pour with a lasting creamy light tan head. Aroma is robust earthy roast char, hint of tart coffee bean,. Flavour is composed of bitter ashy roast burnt wood, bitter Ash, char, bitter coffee. Palate is semi sweet, mellow rounded, carbonation. Decent.
