Pouring a beautiful deep golden brown, this traditional English Nut Brown gets its nutty character entirely from malted barley (no nuts were harmed in the brewing of this beer) and East Kent Goldings hops. It's simultaneously rich and drinkable, dark and light, sweet and dry.

2 week old pint can A: Somewhat murky looking dark brown with negligible tan head. S: Toasty bread, roast nuts, dried leaves and green herbs. T: Caramel and chocolate cake sweetness with leafy and herbal hop notes providing some balance. Ends nutty and toasty. M: Low level of prickly carbonation, medium body and sweet but fairly clean finish. O: Nice brown but nothing to blow your socks off.
