In an effort to continually produce numerous examples of damn near impossible to sell beer, we taste notes of subdued smoked honey straw, charcoal smoke, rustic rye bread, and bright cinnamon spice, all of which is brought together with that sweet smoke derived cleansing dryness. If you’re new to smoked beers, we recommend giving them at least 3 sips (chances.. if you will) prior to deciding one way or the other. That first sip can be alarming for some, and with each successive try, the sometimes-bracing nature of smoked malt settles into what feels like a much more delicate flavor thread woven throughout the beer, and then you’re hooked forever, if we’re both lucky.
