Brewed in August 2020 and aged in a port barrel for 1 year then conditioned for another 1.5 years in kegs. Grand Design has lots of wood character with toffee, showcasing a malty richness and complex, intense flavors. Chewy and rich in body, with warming alcohol and pleasant stone fruit. The port-like flavors—from the aging—make this one a wintertime sipper.

Draft at the brewery, 4/9/23. Darker orange. Booze-forward barley wine with plenty of flavor to it. Nice sipper.
