76 House is made for the Old 76 House restaurant in Old Tappan NY. The beer is a tavern ale with recipe components that come from ales that would've been served during the mid-late 1700s and inspired by an ale that George Washington used to have when he would stay at the tavern that is now 76 House. The structure used to be Mabie's Tavern. It's the oldest tavern in the US and has been operational for nearly 400 years.
