Sunshine was the first beer ever brewed by Monty’s back in 2009. A golden, moderately hoppy, floral ale packed full of citrus aromas. With a wonderfully distinctive, dry finish.

Draft at Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Poured a clear golden colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, light, watery, yeasty, earthy, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Poor.

A slightly hazy and orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has biscuits, some lemon and flowers. Simple and good aroma. Taste has biscuity maltyness, some citrucy bitterness, quite dry. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Refreshning, simple and easy to enjoy. Good beer.

Flaske fra Det gode brygg, Sandnes: gylden med tett skum som varer. Lett floral humlearoma med litt citrus og maltsødme. Behagelig karbonert. Snev av kokt broccoli/blomkål i ettersmaken. Lettdrikkelig uten å være minneverdig.

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a light touch of cooked vegetables and diacetyl, with some fruityness. Some bitterness in the flavor, with fruityness and cooked vegetables. Grass. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Short, bitter and fruity finish. Not very pleasant or interesting this one. 141231
