Almost totally black with a couple of fingers of dense off-white head. Good enough retention and a bit of lacing. A very clean though not very intense aroma shows light roasted malts, milk coffee and a general 'soft' feel, dark/red fruits. Taste is brighter. A soft milky/oatmeal stout base, with gentle roasted malts and a bit of caramel. Nice fruitiness (red fruits). Maybe a hint of liquorice. Medium to high sweet and medium to low bitter, overall surely sweet but not too much. Finishes with a slight, pleasant warming/alcohol feel. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation, quite not full enough to be sipped, but nicely silky smooth. Definitely a sweet/belgian kind of stout, and a nice, well-made one.

Bottle from Les Fleurs. Light black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted fruit. Flavour is warm fruit, caramel, a little booze, vanilla and wood on a salty finish.

Sampled at BXL. Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of cocoa, chocolate, roasted malts, dark cherries, dried fruit. Nice belgian-style stout.

7 3 8 3 16 Draft at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels ’17. Near black with a bubbly tan head. Aroma of roast, overripe dark fruits, dark chocolate, oak and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
