The brewer combines an intense taste profile with great tasting flexibility. The use of toasted spelt malts and the woody touches give it intense flavors of coffee, roasted with a touch of acidity. The brewer worked on the full-bodied flavors of the malts, the aromas and the bitterness of the three hops to obtain a balanced product: a stout with strong and intense flavors and well balanced, without any heaviness.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Black body with a thin tan head that gradually fades. Faint lacing. Aroma of Marmite, blackcurrant, nuts and cocoa powder. Flavour of caramel, treacle and a salty, savoury finish. Thin body with a smooth, watery texture. Soft fizz. It’s quite thin for the strength but it’s interesting - the aroma especially. A classy beer.

From a 33 cl bottle at the Cafe Rose Red in Bruges it is a dark brown color with a thick tan head. The Aroma is of roasted coffee beans and the taste is strong and comple. It begins with a bitter roast then evolves into licorice and then into a hint of grain that stays on the palate and the licorice and maltiness returns With a . Bitter roast finish.
