This Belgian Golden wild ale was aged in @barnettvineyards Cab barrels for 12 months with Brettanomyces that our Head Brewer Brendan brought with him from Kansas.
She was then aged for another 2 months on fresh organic lemongrass and bottle conditioned with Brett. Layla has notes of lemon candy, fresh cut grass, and is well traveled. This beer is as beautiful and complex as the song. Layla, you got me on my knees. Layla, I’m begging, darling please. Layla, darling, won’t you ease my worried mind?

500 ml bottle from AE, 7/22/22. Bottled 6/7/22, and released today. Unlcear golden color, fizzy white head, mild lace. Lemon and lemon grass. Grainy. Somewhat acidic. Funky, a little tart. I enjoyed it. I'm going to let the 2nd bottle I got age for a bit, as I'm curious to see how it changes over time.
