Cask at GBBF, 2012. Dark red brown pour with a beige head. Dark fruit, caramel and a little coffee aroma. Coffee and vanilla flavour with a hit of fruit. Quite dry. Malty finish.

Cask (gravity) @ GWBCF2011 - Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival, Cardiff Interantional Arena, Mary Ann Street, Cardiff, Wales.ABV: 4.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate malt, sweet licorice, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110616]

Cask@GWBCF 2011. Deep ambery black colour with not too much head. Aroma is wood, some dark dry fruits, mild liquorice, some toffee as well as vanilla. Flavour is quite much the same in a pleasant balance.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 1/11/10. Dark brown with a slight tan head. A fairly light bodied stout with some milk chocolate, plenty of roasted malts and dry finish. Good.
