Foeder-fermented Pilsner brewed with 100% floor-malted bohemian pilsner malt, hopped in the kettle and whirlpool with Saaz, Hersbrucker, Tettnang, and Saphir.
As with all of the beers that come out of our foeder lager program, this one was fermented low and slow with one of our favorite German yeast strains. After a long fermentation we lagered this beer in oak for 8 weeks before transferring to stainless for another 3 weeks of cold conditioning. This beer is crisp, dry, and perfectly refreshing for these dog days of summer.
We're tasting saltine crackers, orange marmalade, fresh hay, subtle cracked pepper, and under-ripe cantaloupe.

Draft at the brewery, 8/8/21. Unclear yellowish color, white head, lighter lace. Wood, grass, and a little funk. Clean and very drinkable.
