It’s usually better to unify than divide. Wedge Issue™ is a series of double IPAs where we take two hops that divide opinion around the brewery and put them together in equal amounts to make the whole greater than the sum of the parts. For Wedge Issue Warrior | Independence, we added significant amounts of Warrior and Independence hops as pellets, and a custom distillate to a grain bill consisting of Pearl malt, wheat, and oats fermented with New England yeast. Look for the meeting of Warrior’s aromas of citrus and spice to be defined by Independence’s sweet tobacco leaf and spicy citrus notes in a classic American style.
