We designed this thick pastry stout to drink like a liquid version of a Mexican Wedding Cookie.

Covered in powdered white sugar, these small, spherical, nut-filled delights are also referred to as Snowball Cookies, and they make the perfect winter dessert pairing with this lush, full-bodied stout.

We infused our biggest imperial pastry stout base beer to date with loads of hand-toasted almonds and vanilla. After an extended period of careful recirculation, the flavors melded together in a beautiful way.

Toasty and sweet brown malt flavors from the beer are embraced by golden-brown toasted almond aromas, all entwined together harmoniously in a pool of caramelized sugar, drinking chocolate, and candied dark fruit preserves.

We get notes of freshly baked Mexican Wedding cookies, golden brown toasted almonds, powdered donuts, creamy vanilla, confectioners' sugar, Crème-Brulé, milk chocolate, and sweet fig preserves.

500 ml bottle from the Source, 12/23/20. Released today, picked up today, consumed today, and poured into my Source glass today, because today is today (until tomorrow when it's not). Let's get this 4 day Christmas weekend going already. It pours a darker brown color with a sheeting medium brown head. Not as rich on the adjuncts as I was expecting from a Source stout. The vanilla and cookie / sugary dough malt flavors definitely come through. Chocolate, coffee, almond, and caramel all come through as well. Nicely balanced. A hint thin, but otherwise quite nice.
