Keg at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, 09/12/18. Murky amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is dark malts, dusty red berry fruits, biscuit, toffee. Taste comprises toffee, straw, dried fruits, brown sugar sprinkle, hint of cocoa. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle from Les Fleurs.Murky black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Flavour is toasted malt, licorice, creamy chocolate on a bitter malt finish.

Black beer, white head. Aroma of malts, roasted malts. Rather sweet flavour, roasted malts. Sweet finish.

Sampled at BLX Beer Fest. Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of citrus, light roasted malts, light chocolate, coffee, fruit. A bit too light for a porter.

Bxlbeerfest. Pours black. Aroma is roast, malt, sugar. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, sugar. Finish is sweet and roasty. Overall: ok.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is liqourice and roasted malt. Roasted malty, liqourice and dark breadish. Bitter, dry. Roasted finish.

7 3 7 3 14 Draft at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels ’17. Very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of licorice, roast, dark chocolate and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle - Nice dark roast and some dark chocolate notes. Deep jet brown with a rich light brown head. Rich dark roast, nice dark toasty notes and a long finish. Solid beer.
