“Hefe” is the German word for yeast and “weizen” is German for wheat. This hazy German wheat beer is crisp, refreshing, and features delicate notes of citrus, banana, clove, and freshly baked wheat bread. The mouthfeel starts off as a creamy sensation but finishes bone dry with a snap of citrusy effervescence. It’s the perfect Summer ale for enjoying in the hot sun.

16 oz can from the Source, 8/8/20. Canned 7/29/20. Hazy gold, white head, plenty of lace. Aroma is on style with lots of clove, wheat, and banana. Beyond those flavors, some lemon and spice notes linger on the tongue. Not a ton of diversity in this style, and this one is no exception, but everything is done well here.
