We decided to brew a more classic, West Coast style, Imperial IPA for this one. No wheat, no oats, no haze — just a simple malt backbone to support beautiful hop bitterness, flavor, and a bouquet of hoppy aromas.

16 oz can from the Source, 8/8/20. Canned 7/29/20. The pour is a slightly hazed yellow with a really nice thick froth of foamy white head. Bright pine, resin, grapefruit, and a little melon. Drinks easy, smooth and clean, with a nice dryness to the close. Really tasty stuff. Shots fired across the Stone bow with this one. I'm not going to pretend I know enough to say who's at fault with the Stone / Sawstone thing, but I guess it took this situation to get Source to make a West Coast IPA, and I'm just glad they made one.
