A unique take on a classic west coast DIPA, uses a large amount of rye and caramel malts to produce a refreshing flavor of earthy notes and spice. This red in color DIPA is also brewed with Warrior and Citra hops in the kettle, then dry hopped with even more Citra and Falconer's Flight hops to produce aromas bursting of grapefruit and citrus.

16 ounce can. Hazy copper red color. Small creamy beige head. Faint toasted malt aroma. Earthy toasted malt flavor. Resiny hops in middle. Some sweet caramel notes as well. Dank citrus finish resonates with notes of grapefruit pith.

Draft at Village Brewing Company, 11/2/19.  (Note: Rinn Duin is now Toms River, new owner, same brewer) Hazy darker reddish color, beige head.  Moderate, streaky lace.  Rye, spice, earth.  Some grass and citrus zest.  Bit on the boozy side.  Solid rye beer.  Heavy spice.  Not great, but fine enough.   7/4/6/3/14
