2011-2012 edition Smuggled back in my sister in laws suitcase, thanks Terry! Pours a crystal clear golden color with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly despite the constant stream of carbonation bubbling up from the bottom of the glass. Pretty weak aroma, light grainy malt with a hint of toast and a mild sweetness. Taste is grainy toasty and sweet just like the aroma promised. Finish is fairly dry but leaves a lingering sweetness on the tongue. Spirited level of carbonation, light body with a lightly sweet bubbly mouthfeel. Really nothing special or objectionable. Its not bad, in fact I have had macros that are much worse. I could drink this if I had to.

Canned. A dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel as well as a light note of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and metal, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks Theis for sharing.

Can 35 c. Courtesy of Theis. Pours a clear deep golden with a dense and frothy off-white head leaving some lacework. The nose is sweet and malty with a little perfumy hops. Medium body, fairly decent maltiness with a surprisingly hoppy finish. Not too bad actually. 200111

Nice light amber color, tall head. Malt centered aroma, slightly dark and chocolatey but just slightly. Malty flavor, somewhat sweet, with chocolate and caramel. Rich, a bit earthy, plus a little bit of wood, maybe the charcoal? Ok, but still not very interesting. Still a bit cheap, somehow.
