This Imperial NEIPA was brewed with a large portion high protein specialty grain which give it a beautiful hazy appearance and softer mouthfeel. It was double dry hopped with 2 southern hemisphere hop varietals, Southern Passion & Motueka, that lend big fruity aromas ranging from stone fruit, to melon, to tropical fruits, with some bright citrus thrown in the mix. Hop additions were reserved for the end of the boil to emphasize the aromatics and flavors.

Draft the the Source, 9/29/19. Hazy, bright golden-orange. White head, moderate lace. A little fruity, with a bit of alcohol. Solid stuff, but feels like it could use just a little tweaking to get better. 6/4/7/3/14 Updated with a can from the brewery. Canned 2/17/20, consumed 2/19/20. ABV comes in at 9% this time around. Fully hazed pale golden, white head, strong / spotty lace. Peach, melon, and a little herbal. Bit of alcohol coming through. I think these fresh cans are pretty solid. Have to up the score from my previous rating. 7/4/7/4/16
