Bottled. A very hazy dark red beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, lemon, straw, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, wood, brettanomyces, and astringent smoke leading to a dry, smokey, and bretty finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Very refined aroma with a distinct oaky touch - quite spicy and sophisticated. Full-bodied, a little low in carbonation, roasted malts and dried fruits again with a distinct barrel touch while the smoke is surprisingly downplayed in this version. Again warming alcohol in the finish. Not much Brett character, but this both looks and tastes better than the original version. 040910
