An easy drinking summer lager brewed to honor the first Virginia beer to win the Virginia Beer Cup in the early 2000s. Bright gold in color, this German lager is balanced with pils malt and noble hops. Crisp and exceptionally refreshing.

On tap at brewpub. Pale straw color. Nice bitter pils aroma with grainy notes. Beautiful balance between bitterness and maltiness in the taste. Best beer at South Street that night.

Golden yellow with a nice head. Smells slightly sweet. Taste is what threw me- this is a fantastic pils! Without a doubt, one of the best I have had (I’m not a huge fan of the style). Highly recommended for macro drinkers, because this is close enough, yet SO much better.
