Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and tart fruity notes. The taste is powdery cocoa, chocolate, faint and tart fruit notes and a bitter leafy hop finish. A bit chalky. Smooth, medium bodied. Nice beer. 5/14/10.
