Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of leafy citrus hops with candied citrus. Nice hoppy taste with citrus, resin and earthy notes and caramel. Medium bodied.

On tap. Poured a dark gold with a slight red hue and a small white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma seemed a bit off with a wets woodsy smell of bark, pine and dirt. Flavor seemed similarly off with a pine note, but also some wet wood and dirt. Very earthy and odd to say the least. Definitely note for me.

On tap at Walldorff. Slightly hazy orange-brown body, medium off-white head. Nose of grapefruit and other citrus, fruity and floral, very fresh-smelling and crisp. Hops resins dominate the body, bright and bold with citrus, including a touch of lemon, and light pine. Dry bready malt backbone. Crisp and well-balanced.
