Served on draft at the brewpub on 7/1/11. Pours a clear dark ruby color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of chocolate, nuts, earthy notes and a bit of caramel. The taste is roasted malts, nuts, chocolate and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.
