Draught, KØ11. Powerful piney hop aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small stable tan head. Also a powerful piney hop flavour. Mild sweetness to balance the hoppiness, and some alcohol to do the same.

Medium beige head. Deep red body. Lovely wooden roasty resiny aroma with earthy mealy notes. Dry-sweet wooden grainy taste with buttery mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Dry resiny mealy fruity aftertaste with wooden roasty notes. Perfectly OK, but nothing special. (0.1l draft at DBF’11.)

Draught, 100ml served by the happy, rocky people at the Croocked Moon’s exposition stand, Ølfestival København 2011. Hazy amber, bubbly ring to the edge of the glass. Smell of floral hops mixed with spicy malts. Spices, malt and different kind of fruity hops resulting in a jam-like flavour. Lingering bittersweet finish. Full bodied. Very much to my liking and one of my favourites at the festival (Copenhagen, 28.05.2011).

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011 from tap: Pours a semi clear orange body with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma is hopy, some butter and it's quite sweet with some sticky caramel. Full-bodied, soft carbonation and has a really nice smooth texture. Starts off with nice and sweet caramel, continues with some fatty butter and citrus hops. The hopyness just keeps on growing stronger and stronger the longer you have the beer in the mouth, but it's still somehow not over-hopped. Really smooth and quite nice!
