Amber brown in color with light caramel and roast nose. This beer is a huge malt bomb. Deep bready and strong caramel notes all the way through this beautiful fall beer ending with just a touch of hop bitterness to round out this perfect fall evening beer.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a large creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, floral and earthy hops and mild toffee. The taste is caramel, herbal and earthy hops and, woah, hold on here... chili peppers. Definite chili pepper notes, but there is no way this crossed lines with the ghost chili beer that was on cask, and I tasted this before the chili pepper beer, so maybe this was an improperly cleaned glass? In any case it is what it is. Medium bodied.
