Served on cask at the 3rd Annual Top of the Hops, Charlottesville, 9/22/12. Pours a murky yellow color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of herbal hops, honey, nuts, mild funk, faint fruits and a bit of butter. The taste is tart dry fruits, herbal hops, pale malts and very faint barnyard. Medium bodied. Decent.
