Named for a carnivorous squid, this "red devil" boast a malty vienna base, backed by spicy rye and 97 IBUs of hop punch. Once fermentation is complete, we dry-hop with a special blend to give it a lasting floral aroma.

Growler shared with friends, thanks Ken! Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of of dark grains and rye with a bit of backing floral and grassy hops. Flavor begins with some resinous pine with a rye backbone and has a bit of citrus come out with hints of sweet grains.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear dark vibrant red color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of stone fruits, toffee, rye, earthy and herbal notes. The taste is bitter rye, herbal hops, toffee and earthy notes. Medium bodied. A little bit bland and definitely off-balance.
