Growler from the brewpub. 650th Virginia rating! Pours a hazy dark red color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee and herbal hops. The taste is toffee, berries, earthy notes and a bitter hop finish. Medium-full bodied, slight booze, slight astringency. Not bad.
