Bottle at Full Monty. Very dry, tannic nose. Chalk, minerals, just a bit of apple. This is the driest cider I have ever had, extremely tannic, with just a hint of light, sweet apple juice somewhere in there that makes it very fun and enjoyable. The tannic finish last a long, mouth-puckering time. I actually liked this a lot, beyond the educational value of a single KB cider. It is too dry to drink all day, and I enjoyed the Vintage Reserve much more, but a fascinating creature.

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 27.04.17. Clear golden. Not much head. Fine aroma of apple zest and wild apples. Similar taste, with leather. Dry. Very good, interesting and with excellent drinkability.

Deilig drikke.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Plymouth. Pale golden in colour. Has a small apple aroma, but much more stated in its taste with a slight burnt wood infusion. It has a strength but its flavours dominate over this. It’s a dry tasting cider.

Bottle brought by a friend, medium sample. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of green apple, dry wood, slight vanilla, touch of funk. Dry in taste, apple, slight wood. Crisp, quite complex (although I cant seem to describe a lot of characteristics :-)). Nice cider.

Very pale. Almost champagne coloured. Some woody dryness in the aroma. Also a dry taste but refreshing and lightly tart. Very easy to drink. Doesn’t feel like 7.2%

Bottle shared @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear pale golden color, virtually no head. Aroma is only lightly sweetish, a bit sweet - sour, green apples, apple peel. Taste sweet - sour - bitter, green apples, dried apples, apple peel, vinous. Pretty to very dry finish. This I really like. Lovely cider imo.
