Bourbon nose. Black pour, thin tan head. Bourbon flavor which was expected but a surprisingly rich vanilla flavor followed, which I really dug. Chewy and full bodied. One of the better BBA stouts I’ve had.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a thin brown head. Fair head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, raisin, mild whiskey notes. The taste is very tart fruits, cherries mainly with some citrus, roasted malts, mild wood and whiskey. Medium bodied. Seems like an infection might be brewing here.
