Draft at the brewery 12/5/13. Pours a dark brown color with a large creamy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of strong fennel, chocolate, floral notes, cognac in the finish. The taste is chocolate, roasted malts, fennel, mild cognac. Medium bodied, interesting.
