sweet boozy aroma, ssweet malty, roasted malts. flavor is roasted malts, licorice, sweet notes, still quite dry, super well balanced. great taste.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black. Aroma is roasted malt and slight herbal. Mild fruity and sweet note. Dark roasted malty and thick chocolate. Smooth sherry and mellow fruity note. Ends dry and bitter.

On tap. Pours an almost pitch black with a vague orange hue and a small off-white head. Sweet roasty nose with a vague tobacco touch. Solid body, carbonation is low, subdued roast while the Sherry really digs into the flavour. Warming alcohol finish. The barrel took most of the roast but left a sweet and subtle woody touch. 260511
