Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and cherry aroma. Roasted malty chocoalte flavor with hints of licorice and cherry. Has a roasted malty chocolate and cherry finish.

Black with a small but lasting, light brown head. Aroma of licorice and roasted malt with a hint of wine. Sweetish licorice, dark chocolate and mild roasted malt flavour with a drying finish, perhaps of alcohol and tannin in combination

Draught, KØ11. Mild spicy aroma. Black colour. Small stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is sweetish, some cough syrup notes, perhaps aniseed. Surprisingly, a little rubber note in the finish.

Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood - cherry. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet cherry, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110526]

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is dark fruits, spices, liquorice, some alcohol and mild vanilla as well. Flavour is the same with some bitterness and rather evident wooden notes. A bit sticky palate.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Very black, creamy head. Fruity nose with licorice and some wood. Sweet and full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Sherry in itself is not overly evident, but it lends the beer an elegant, fruity slenderness. Quite attractive.
