New England Bucket List Trip #218. Keg at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, toasted malt. The taste is caramel, raisin, toasted malt, floral hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a red-orange color with a large foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was a bit sour and tangy with a hint of caramel, vague dark fruits and a touch of pepper. The flavor was malty, nutty, and had a toasted caramel presence with hints of banana and pepper. The finish was long and tangy with caramel, pepper and nut lingering. Medium body. Ok.
