Did you know that Gaithersburg was known as “Log Town” when it was settled in 1765 as a small agricultural settlement? History and beer go hand-in-hand, and because we’re a traditional brewpub we are honoring our local history with a beer for everyone to enjoy, our golden ale. Pale golden with a white head, it is an easy-drinking, approachable, malt-oriented beer with low hop character that finishes clean, crisp and refreshing.

Pretty rough. A little bit sour with some kind of varnish like tint to it. Pours hazy blonde with OK head and lacing. Light sour finish. Tap at brewpub.

Northeast Bucket List Trip Beer #21. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a large creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of butter, doughy malt, mild citrus. The taste is butter and doughy malts. Thin bodied. Terrible.
