Keg at the brewpub. Clear dark red, med creamy tan head, good head retention. Aroma of tart fruits, biscuit malt, yeast, earth, caramel. The taste is caramel, berries, stone fruit, caramel and bready malt. Hints of floral notes and anise. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, mild lingering spice.
