12oz can pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a nice looking tan head of foam. The aroma is inviting with spicy hops and pine hops that move into a mild citrus hop note plus a light mix of biscuit malts and sweet maltiness. The taste delivers a mix of sweet malts, pine hops and grapefruit to clementine citrus hoppiness. To midway the hop bitterness surges forward along with some spicy hops as well. There’s a modest sweet malt to crystal maltiness creating a nice base for the hops. Solid IPA.

Aroma: The nose is on the lighter side, some caramel/toffee and a little pine/citrus
Appearance: It pours a clear caramel-red color with an off-white head and plenty of lace
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, with caramel malts, and light-medium hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it feels a hint thin, with a soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This beer has an alright flavor to it, and it drinks fine, but it certainly isn't anything impressive. This is the first of a 6-pack, so maybe my opinion will change, but at this point I am not particularly impressed.

Pours clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head and lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is malty, dusty, caramel, earthy and pine. Taste is sweet caramel up front with bitter pine in the finish

Sampled at Rackhouse Pub, Denver CO, on October 10, 2012, during the event Colorado Rare Beer TastingClear dark copper color, yellow head. Sweet, malty scent. Hoppy, sweet, bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, high bitterness.

Can at Linger, Denver - 01/06/12. Copper gold with white head. Bready malts on the nose, not tto much in the way of hops going off. Caramel malt flavour, some hops, straw, bread. Medium bodided, didn’t realy seem like an IPA!

Can shared by Jcwattsrugger. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose of tree sap, caramel malt, resin and chocolate. Taste is dry caramel sap, tree bark sap, syrupy sap, birch sap and maple sap. Did I mention its sappy? Decent. Lots of dry resin and sap in finish. Medium body.

12 oz can purchased at Antler liquor in Frisco, Colorado. Pour is a copper brownish ruby, slightly hazed, with a two inch tan head. The head falls with decent lacing. The aroma is hazelnut malt, a bit roasty, along with some milder pine and earthy hops. The taste has the slightly sweet hazelnut malt up front, mixed along with an earthy, sort of floral pine hop. There is a mild twinge of vegetal present, which detracted. The palate is medium bodied, pretty full for an IPA, though it is pretty dry which makes it easy to drink. Overall, decent IPA - not sure how fresh this was.

12 fl oz can. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is slight chemical and toasted malty. Toasted malty, pinewood hoppy and caramelish. Bitter and dry hoppy finish.

Can 12fl.oz.Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, citrus, light resin. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110622]
