Can 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Almost clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with citrusy hops. Medium-bodied, again a little caramel, somewhat dusty c-hops leaving a fairly bitter finish. 220611

Can. An amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, malt, and caramel, leading to a quite bitter finish. The body is light.

Sample from can at the Beer βN Rock Band tasting on 08/27/2010: This brew is a clear amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing. Malty aroma with hops in the background. Medium body with flavors of grainy malt and mild hops, plus some fruit. The finish is bready malt and fruit. Not very IPA-ish, average overall.

Medium amber pour - soapy, thick head - aroma of mint, grapefruit, candied orange peel, and peppery hops, atop some sweet caramel malt - fairly malt forward for an ipa, with quite a bit of caramel sweetness - however, the hops are zesty and spicy enough to counter this reasonably well, at least until the beer warms up a bit - then the sweetness is a little much - there is some buttery diacetyl way in the back, too, but again, the zesty character of the hops attempts to cover up the flaw - not terrible - if they dropped the sweetness and abv a little, they would have a much more solid product here.

Deep amber with a tan head. Very fruity and floral aroma with some sweet malts, as well. For an IPA, it seems to be without bitterness. I hope it shows through in the flavor... More fruit sna floral notes int he flavor. The sweet malts are nice, but could use a higher hopping to really balance it out. It does have a slight bitter finish. Iβd be much happier if this was marketed as an amber ale because itβs not a bad beer, just doesnβt strike me as an IPA.
