Minnesota Trip Beer #8. Keg at the brewpub, 5/7/16. Clear dark brown, large creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of cherry, nuts, chocolate. The taste is chocolate, soy, cherries. Medium bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of maraschino cherries with a decent amount of chestnut with a hint of dark grains. Flavor is full of sweet cherry with a touch of tartness and some chestnut with a hint of roasted malts underlying.
