Made together by Ardent Craft Ales and Hardywood Brewery. A collaboration on an old Dusseldorf- style ale, which is fermented at cooler temperatures. Malty and sweet, with the addition of maple syrup and local chestnuts, which were roasted and peeled before added to the brew. This beer has a mild hop bitterness and balanced finish.

Keg at Ardent. Clear dark amber, medium sized fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, maple, mild nuts. The taste is caramel, raisin, chocolate, maple. Medium bodied, low carbonation, a touch too sweet.
