The first beer our brewer Kevin ever entered into a competition was this Imperial Stout, named after his first born daughter, Keagan, who was born on the day he had originally planned on brewing this beer. That brew day was postponed for over a week, until he was able to bring her home from the hospital. The result was a silver medal in the best of show competition of 500 entries! Which got Kevin to thinking... maybe he could do this for a living? A seed was planted, and Kevin would spend the next year of his life working full time at his day job while also putting together the people and information needed to start a business.
