Bottle @ Baguetteria del Figo, Roma. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are sweet fruits, hops, flowers and malt. Sweet and bitter finish.

Bottle at Centrolina DC pours a pink/gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose has some peppercorn, grass, straw, light lemon, some candy, yeast. Flavor is much more saison with yeast and pepper, some esters too, straw. Dry finish. Just not an IPA.

On tap at The Ginger Man, NYC. It’s a hazy one, dark orange-golden in color and with a creamy, off-white head of fingerthick size. The aroma has a faint peppery touch, with oranges, some malts and a generic fruityness. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, more pepper than in the aroma and a light malty back. Pink grapefruits too. Full body, smooth and nicely carbonated, with a little pepper burn in the mouth. Long finish. A nice idea, but it should have more attitude. 150624

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit and light spice aroma. Grapefruit and light spice flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light pine linger with light spice.

Pours hazy copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, pepper, caramel, hint of yeast and something that reminds me of puke. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty and slightly peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Aroma has soapy apricot and mild spicy tones. Feels musty. Flavour has some peppery spices, mild chili burn, apricot and minerals. A bit messy but decent. Like a Belgian ale with spices.
