Elegant sweet aroma of tropical fruits and grapefruit. Hints of flowers. Light body for a very drinkable beer which has a sweet fruity and malty backbone and bitterness from grassy hops and grapefruit zest.
Finish is dry, and there’s a nice bitter grassy and vegetable aftertaste with a spicy warm peppery note.

The pour is a hazy gold with an inch of foam.

I get an interesting range of aromas. A kind of tropical fruitiness with mango being the most notable. Some pineapple as well. Pepper? I don’t exactly what pink pepper brings to the table.

It doesn’t taste like it smells for the most part. The hop bitterness is on the harsh side. I get wee bits of the fruit and yes, there’s a peppery thing going on but the hop flavours need smoothing out.

Mouthfeel is okay.

Wow, if this tasted like it smelled, it would drink like a champion.

Bottle. Caramel malt, pepper, and orange peel aroma. Murky orange-brown with small head. LIghtly sweet caramel malt, moderately strong pepper and herbal flavor. Pretty funky.

Bottle from a random bar/restaurant, Roma. Hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Citrus, yeast and a little peppery spice in the beak. Decent grassy hop bitterness in the flavour in tandem with some spice, grapefruit and malty notes. Didn’t really pick up on the pepper aspect but its a tasty beer.

Dull tan, fairly rich head. Some citrus and papaya nose. Bitter, but with a touch of phenols, hints of yeast, and a basic character, yeast.

33cl bottle @ Il Pretesto, Bologna. BB 05/2015.

Hazy yellow-orange color, steady off-white head. Aroma of pineapple juice. Medium-bodied. Sweet and fruity - yes pineapple - flavor. Can’t trace pepper, just some woody notes. Light lingering bitterness with fruity sweetness in the aftertaste. Drinkable.

19.06.2013, 0,375l bottle @ NY hotel room:
Slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry and fruity, light malts, pepper, hops, hay, yeast, herbs, cereal. Taste is dry, slightly metallic, light malts, hay, hops, herbs, yeast, grass, pepper, caramel. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, should have had more pepper in it.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours tiny hazy golden with a frothy and creamy offwhite head that leaves a thick foamy trace on the glass while dissipating. smell is sweet, spicy and tiny fruity with crackers, old bread, cereal, rose pepper, orange zest, lemon zest, grapefruit juice, overripe tropical fruits, lemon hard candy, green grapes, grass and hints of compost. Taste is bitter and spicy with crackers, grapefruit juice, grass, pine needles, cereal, resinous wood, dill, rose pepper, passion fruit, black tea, orange peal, lemon peal, bergamot and hints of papaya. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, slightly crisp and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, pine needles, orange peal, lemon peal, lemon hard candy, rose pepper, wood, passionfruit and grass. A bit past its prime. This one might be worth trying fresh.

Bottled (Thanks omhper!). Slightly hazy amber orange colour. Aroma is fruity, wooden and nicely nectary. Flavour is rather similar with some slight white peppery notes. Well balanced and hides the abv rather well.
