Elegant sweet aroma of tropical fruits and grapefruit. Hints of flowers. Light body for a very drinkable beer which has a sweet fruity and malty backbone and bitterness from grassy hops and grapefruit zest.
Finish is dry, and there’s a nice bitter grassy and vegetable aftertaste with a spicy warm peppery note.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours orange gold with a creamy off-white head. Unusual citrusy aroma. There’s a light hint of pepper. Med body. It’s rather fruity, mildly something else, and also arguably some pepper, and it’s reasonably bitter.

28/11/2011 330ml bottle. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Ottima IPA.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold. Fluffy white head. Nose/taste of light pepper, pink grapefruit, hops and pineapple. Pepper comes out much more in the taste but remains well balanced. Light and delicate on the palate. Mild malt presence.

Bottle at home in London, bought in Roma. Pours cloudy gold with an enormous, fluffy, white head. There is some floral note in the aroma, along with a bit of lightly toasted malts, some fine grassy hops. Flavor is nice, very clean, some dry grass and earth, subtle pine and resin, understated spices. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Finish has just a nip of warmth, quite earthy with neutered pepper, some more grass, and just enough malt presence to offset the myriad hops. An interesting and good beer, haven’t had many like it that I can recall.

Almond pink ipa 6.2%. Grapes. Albano hazy gold lasting cream head. Grapes bar. Bit tea like for me. Bit harsh on finish and not quite enough body but bitterness and pink grapefruit are good.
