Imperal Stout Brewed with Beet Sugar and Medjool Dates
An intense aroma of sweet brown sugar followed by a foreboding potency of alcohol emanates from this pitch black stout (we call an Oat Wine). The combination of Medjool dates, beat sugar, and a sizable malt bill create an immense candied sweetness, coupled with a big sticky mouthfeel from the hefty additions of oat flakes. Despite the huge sweet initial flavor impact on the palate, an immediate mouth warming sensation caused by the high alcohol content quickly follows and lingers well beyond the finish.
