Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a deep reddish brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains, vanilla and cinnamon with a hint of pepper underlying. Flavor has spice and grains with vanilla and cinnamon supporting.

Keg at the brewery. Dark brown, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of Chocolate, vanilla, peppers. Taste is vanilla, peppers, chocolate, spice, caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering heat.
