Sampled from the tap at Dexter’s Pub. Pours a clear reddish brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is red wine forward with bourbon, sweet grains and toffee supporting. Flavor has sweet grains, cookie, toffee and bourbon with a hint of red wine.

Keg at the brewery. Dark brown, large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of booze, raisin, chocolate, oak, vanilla, roast, caramel. Taste is caramel, raisin, oak, chocolate, wine. Medium bodied, low carbonation, warming but not overly boozy.
