Bottled@CPH Beer Fest 2011. Very deep brown, close to black colour, with a small brown foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, some ashes, mild fruity and floral notes as well as some slight raisins and mild coffee. Flavour is being quite similar, but instead of the coffeeish notes it has some chocolate and mild wooden notes.

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. A dense, medium sized off-white head sits on top of an almost clear, dark brown body. Chicken farm, roasted malts and a touch of something I guess is alcohol. Sweetness, some roasted malts, chocolate and coffee on the palate, with a dry, roasted, ashtray finish. Dry, medium body. Definitely not my idea of a porter, but it would be fun tasting it again. 110526

A very decent porter. Oerbaek has put their usual bit boring style aside, and made a beer with some taste.
